Lawyers Professional Liability

The lawyers professional liability insurance protects the business if you will be required to pay compensation to third parties as a result of negligence or omission in the course of business .

This insurance is compulsory by law and the Council of the Bar set some minimum amounts as follows:
For each requirement – € 170,860
For each period of insurance – € 341,720

The insurance issued under Declared Loss (claims made) and provides coverage only for claims or damages notified to the insurer during the period of insurance.

There are additional optional coverage which are optional for Defamation – as a result of misconduct:

• Misuse of powers – if exceeded in terms of customer authorisation
• Dishonest , fraudulent , criminal or malicious act or omission of an official or representative
• Coverage for loss of documents – costs for replacement or rehabilitation
