Employer’s Liability

The insurance covers the legal liability of an employer for accidents or occupational diseases of the employee’s negligence.

The legislation provides for the following maximum allowances:

• € 160.000 each accident or occupational disease, in relation to the employee.
• € 3.415,000 for each incident or series of incidents arising from the same root cause.
• Total coverage limit € 5.125,000 for each period of insurance.

The insurance is compulsory under the Law on Compulsory Insurance Employers’ Liability Act of 1997
